Fab Lab El Paso invites visitors to step into the exciting world of artificial intelligence and create their very own chatbots! In these hands-on workshops, participants will explore how AI works while learning about prompting, and user experience design. From building bots that mentor and inspire, to ones that entertain and make you laugh, students will discover how technology can be a powerful tool for creativity and problem-solving. This program helps young innovators gain confidence, spark new ideas, and prepare for a future where digital skills open endless possibilities.

Fab Lab El Paso was awarded with the Infy Makers Awards for 2024-25 sponsored by Infosys Foundation USA. This program supported innovative educators from K-12 schools, universities, colleges, libraries, museums, makerspaces, and youth-serving non-profit organizations using maker education to promote equitable and inclusive pathways for K-12+ students in computer science.The theme for Infy Makers Awards 2024 was “Making A Difference,” which focused on projects empowering students to become creative problem-solvers of real-world challenges, both in their local communities and on a global scale.
