Day of Your Visit

What to Bring

To help your students have the best experience possible, here are a few helpful reminders as you get ready for your visit:

  • Reusable Water Bottles: In support of environmentally conscious practices, La Nube does not sell disposable plastic water bottles. We encourage all guests to bring a reusable bottle, which can be refilled for free at our water stations throughout the museum.
  • Souvenir Money (Optional): Students will have the opportunity to stop by our Gift Shop, including our popular “$5 or Less” student cart—a great way to take a little piece of La Nube home with them!
  • Rolling Cart or Tote (Recommended): We suggest bringing a group cart or bin to store student lunchboxes, water bottles, jackets, or other items.

Bus Drop-Off & Parking

  • Drop-off: Our group entry on W. Main Street is designed to efficiently accommodate the unloading of up to four buses at a time, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free arrival for your group.
  • Parking: Paid Parking is conveniently available throughout downtown, including metered spots near La Nube. A great option is the Convention Center parking garage, located right across the street. For additional parking locations, click here.
  • Bus Parking: Not available on-site. Buses must return to district service centers or nearby public lots during the visit.

Check-In & Orientation

Please stay on your bus until a La Nube Field Trip Team member greets you. Once everyone has their wristbands, we’ll give a brief orientation and provide your group’s self-guided itinerary. Then—it’s time to explore!

Student Supervision

All students must be with a chaperone at all times—no exceptions.

  • Required: 1 adult (age 21+) per 10 students
  • Questions? Need help? Our friendly team is always nearby and happy to assist.
