This week-long STEAM camp is designed for campers on the autism spectrum in grades 3–5. Campers will enjoy hands-on activities in a supportive and accessible environment while building social, cognitive, and creative skills. Each camper will receive a lunch box during camp.

In partnership with AIA El Paso, campers will learn from professional architects and discover how buildings can be designed to work with the unique climate and landscape of the Chihuahuan Desert. Through hands-on activities and creative design challenges, they’ll explore how science, nature, and creativity come together to build comfortable, sustainable communities.

The GECU Foundation and La Nube STEAM Discovery Center are excited to offer scholarships for children and teens with different abilities to join our hands on STEAM camps. We want every child to have access to fun, inclusive learning experiences.
