Located in Downtown El Paso, La Nube is a 70,000-square-foot STEAM discovery center where imagination takes shape through hands-on exhibits, immersive programs, and playful learning experiences designed for learners of all ages and abilities.
Through collaboration, creativity, and service, volunteers play an important role in shaping memorable experiences for guests of all ages. At La Nube, volunteering is more than giving time. It is about building community, learning together, and inspiring the next generation of thinkers and changemakers.
We welcome individuals who are enthusiastic, reliable, and excited to support learning through play.
To become a volunteer, applicants must:
Welcome guests, support exhibit experiences, and help families navigate the museum.
Assist educators during workshops, programs, and STEAM activities.
Help with setup, execution, and wrap-up of special events and celebrations.
Support preparation projects and operational needs across departments.
Represent La Nube at community events and outreach opportunities.
At La Nube, your time and energy truly matter. When you volunteer with us, you’re not just filling hours — you’re helping spark curiosity and create joyful moments for families across our community.
To help everyone have a meaningful and consistent experience, we ask for the following commitments:
• Regular Volunteers
A minimum of 4 hours per day, per week with a one-year commitment. This helps build strong connections with our team and the families we serve.
• One-Time Volunteers
4–8 hours for a single event or special opportunity. Perfect for jumping in and making an impact!
We welcome students and community groups completing service hours for school or organization requirements. Group opportunities are based on museum needs and scheduling.
Please note: we do not accept court-ordered community service.
Need documentation for school, scholarships, or program requirements? We’re happy to provide verification after your hours are completed.
Verification includes your name, total hours, dates of service, and a La Nube representative’s signature.
Requests must be submitted after service is completed. Please allow 5–7 business days for processing. Volunteers are responsible for tracking and recording their hours each shift.

To volunteer with La Nube, please submit our Individual Volunteer Interest Form found at the link below. After the Operations Coordinator reviews your submission, they will reach out to you for the next steps!
