Moon Phase Workshop

Blast off into space science with a delicious twist! In this hands-on STEAM workshop, participants will explore the phases of the moon using Oreo cookies to model how the moon changes shape as it orbits Earth. By scraping, shaping, and arranging cookie “moons,” learners will investigate light, shadow, and motion while building a clear understanding of waxing, waning, and everything in between.
