Kick off the new school year by exploring the exciting world of digital design! In this hands-on workshop, students will step into the role of a 3D designer as they create a custom school mascot, emblem, or character using beginner-friendly 3D modeling software.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of 3D modeling—including shape manipulation, geometry, spatial alignment, and digital design principles—while transforming their ideas into unique virtual creations. Along the way, they’ll discover how digital models are used in product design, engineering, animation, and 3D printing.

At the end of the workshop, students will share their digital creations with fellow makers and take home a custom 3D-printed personalized pencil sleeve to celebrate the start of the school year. Please Note: Due to the complexity and print time required for custom 3D models, students’ mascot and emblem designs will remain digital and will not be 3D printed during the workshop. Each participant will receive a personalized 3D-printed pencil sleeve as a take-away!
