Marketing Fellowship (Exclusive for La Nube employees)
Reporting to: Department of Marketing and Communications
Job Type: Part-time, temporary
Schedule: 20 hours a week
Location: La Nube | In-Person

Responsibilities
About La Nube
La Nube is seeking passionate and driven fellows to support various departments, including Education, Operations, Exhibits, Community Engagement, Development, Human Resources and Marketing. This role is ideal for students, recent graduates, or emerging professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Fellows will work closely with department leaders to assist in key projects, research, and day-to-day operations that advance La Nube’s mission.
Key Responsibilities (Vary by Department)
- Assist in the planning and execution of department-specific initiatives (e.g., educational programs, exhibit design, fundraising campaigns, or community outreach).
- Conduct research and data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Help with logistics, scheduling, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Engage with guests, partners, and volunteers to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Contribute to content creation (reports, presentations, social media, or promotional materials).
- Support event coordination, including setup, facilitation, and post-event evaluation.
- Maintain and organize departmental resources, including digital files, supplies, or equipment.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment with La Nube’s mission, vision, and values.
Qualifications
- Education: Recent graduate in a relevant field (or demonstrated interest and/or some experience in the department’s focus area).
Skills:
- Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic digital tools (e.g., Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, Sharepoint, Teams).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
Attributes:
- Passion for STEAM education, community building, or nonprofit work.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn in a startup environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings/weekends.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to move throughout the STEAM Center, lift up to 25-50 lbs, and assist with event setup.
- Comfort working in varied environments (indoor/outdoor, around interactive exhibits).
