EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A native El Pasoan created an interior mural at El Paso’s forthcoming La Nube children’s museum.
As part of its local artist partnership program, officials at La Nube announced Wednesday that native El Pasoan Christin Apodaca has crafted and installed a mural complementing the science center’s Desert Bloom zone.
The mural, titled “In our Desert, There is Magic,” highlights the importance of arts in education while also engaging learners in their understanding of the world around them.
According to a statement from La Nube, Apodaca’s creative journey was fueled by the mesmerizing magic inherent in the Chihuahuan Desert’s landscape.
