Unlock the creative potential of one of the most versatile tools in the Fab Lab Makerspace with our Laser Cutting Workshop! This hands-on experience dives into the capabilities of laser cutters, digital fabrication machines that allow you to cut, score, and engrave a wide variety of materials to create intricate designs with precision and ease.
Participants will gear up for Halloween by creating their very own laser-cut, low poly geometric animal masks. You’ll fabricate stunning, custom made masks produced using the advanced laser-cutting technology housed in the Fab Lab.

Through this workshop series, participants will:
• Fabricate a custom geometric animal mask, perfect for Halloween or cosplay. • Learn the fundamentals of the laser cutting process, including how we prepare files for cutting, scoring, and engraving in different materials. • Explore a range of materials that can be used with laser cutters, from wood and acrylic to paper and textiles, which open up endless possibilities for creative projects. • Receive personalized instruction and guidance from experienced Fab Lab instructors, ensuring that participants of all skill levels can confidently create their laser cut mask.
